There are four forms of assessment in this course.
The first is daily quizzes during Intensives Week. They're worth 2.5% each.
The second are Set Pieces of Work. There are five of these, with 4% each. We will use a mixture of Sections B and C from Duff. There is one VERY important thing to note here. Each Set Piece of Work is due on a Monday. It relates to the chapter we have studied the previous week. But because the CADO starts each week on a Monday, it means (on the CADO) that it looks like we're studying (for example) chapter 9 on the 15th Dec, and the assignment is due on the same day. IT's not, what's due on Monday the 15th is the Set Piece of Work realted to what we've studied the previous week (i.e., chapter 8). In order to make this as easy as possible on Moodle, I moved the submission button to be the last thing in the previous week, rather than the first thing of the week listed on the CADO. I know this feels as complicated as trying to pronounce ησπαζομαι but we'll talk it through early on and it'll be fine.
The third are Revision Assignments. There are two of these worth 12.5% each. One covers what you've done in the Intensive Week, and the other the rest of the course. These are online quizzes on Moodle
The fourth is the exam.
