Course Outlines and Course Assessment Delivery Outlines
Topic outline
- General
General
Within each school and subject area there are folders given for each course. Click on the triangular arrow to reveal folder contents. (Different semesters and years are shown in different sections.)
Within each course there are two file types. These are:
- Course outlines:
broad description of the course, together with the learning outcomes - the learning you'll attain having completed the course. - Course assessment and delivery outlines (CADOs):
all the assessments, the textbook, and a course bibliography. Assessment details will include: topic, learning outcomes, word count, expected time required, and due date.
Note there can be several versions of the documents, because:
- many courses are offered at two levels of study - so look at the numeric code.
e.g. 211.615 = level 6, 211.715 is level 7. - deliveries may vary by delivery site - so look at the letters in the bracket.
e.g. (DL) = Distance learning, (CHC) = Christchurch, (MNK) = Manukau, (HNS) = Henderson
- Course outlines:
CADO not listed?
If there is no CADO available for the course you are proposing to do, the CADO may not yet be available.
Please consult with Academic Support staff if you need further help in selecting courses.
